Jinghua Language was founded in 2009 and brings 17 years of solid teaching experience. Building on many years of face-to-face classroom practice, we have fully evolved into one of Hong Kong's leading professional online language education centres.
We specialise in premium live one-to-one online tuition for students aged 3 to 18. Our programmes are built around standard Mandarin Chinese, and also cover English, Spanish, and our flagship public speaking and recitation courses, developing each student's cross-language communication skills and international competitiveness.
To date we have supported the remarkable progress of more than 10,000 students, helping children open the doors to top schools in Hong Kong and around the world.
CLASS FEATURES
Our tutors are rigorously selected. Every member of the teaching team holds a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree along with relevant professional qualifications, and completes specialist teacher training to guarantee the quality of every lesson.
We design a personalised one-to-one learning plan around each student's study habits and characteristics. Lively, interactive lessons hold children's attention and spark genuine interest and enthusiasm for learning.
Every student is assigned a dedicated tutor who supervises their learning and answers questions throughout. We provide ongoing stage-by-stage comments, with a lesson record and grade for each class, so students and parents can review progress online at any time.
Our step-by-step, progressive curriculum meets the needs of students at every stage. Closely aligned with the Hong Kong Education Bureau's school-based curriculum, it trains listening, speaking, reading and writing in the round for steady, measurable improvement.

9 coursesCHINESE MANDARIN
A carefully graded teaching approach matched precisely to each student's level. Courses begin with Pinyin for complete beginners and progress to upper-intermediate and advanced Chinese. The core covers Hanyu Pinyin, basic literacy, in-depth reading and creative writing, with targeted examination preparation alongside. Authoritative source material combined with our own systematically developed teaching materials strengthens listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese across the board.

FAQS
Tutors regularly comment on each child's in-class performance — such as participation and accuracy in answering — and the centre forwards these to parents. You are also welcome to contact us to discuss your child's online learning progress with the tutor.
Students should have their stationery and textbooks (if any) ready 5 minutes before class and log in to the virtual classroom on time over a stable connection. Please use a computer or iPad rather than a phone, in a quiet room free of noise and distractions. If you cannot log in or are disconnected mid-lesson, contact our staff immediately on WhatsApp.
Step 1 — Enquire on WhatsApp (wa.me/85298186772), where an online advisor will answer your questions. Step 2 — Choose a course: book a free assessment; if you enrol after a trial lesson, the trial fee is refunded. Step 3 — Payment: by bank deposit, FPS or PayMe (Hang Seng 789-179942-883; FPS 0588640; PayMe payme.hsbc/jinghua). Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person or course. Step 4 — Attending class: materials are shared via cloud files or posted; our staff send the meeting link before the course begins so students can join the online classroom.

One personal-leave absence is allowed per month with at least one day's notice; sick leave requires at least two hours' notice and a doctor's note. Make-up lessons must be arranged within 30 days from times offered by the centre; they cannot be deferred or refunded, and once scheduled cannot be changed.
Every member of the teaching team holds a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree with rich teaching experience, each with their own personality and teaching style — so every student can find the tutor who suits them best, even the shyest or most mischievous child.
On successfully completing each learning stage, students receive a Jinghua "Learning Certificate" for that level as proof of their effort and achievement. For a recommendation letter, parents may apply via our staff on WhatsApp. Students with outstanding results during their studies may also receive a "Learning Progress Award" certificate.
